## MONEY & MARKETS

**Investors are holding steady as all eyes turn toward tomorrow’s monthly inflation report.**

Global equity markets drifted slightly higher today as trading volumes lightened ahead of the Labor Department's Consumer Price Index publication. Traders and institutions are effectively standing on the sidelines, reluctant to make major bets before seeing whether consumer prices continued their moderate cool-down last month.

Why does a single report carry so much weight? The Federal Reserve has made it clear that future rate decisions depend entirely on sticky inflation metrics, particularly core inflation in shelter and service costs. If tomorrow's numbers come in higher than projected, expectations for borrowing rate cuts later this year will evaporate instantly.

For your personal balance sheet, this waiting game matters immensely. Higher-for-longer interest rates keep yield rates on high-yield savings accounts and certificates of deposit attractive, but they also maintain painful pressure on mortgage rates and credit card debt. If you are sitting on liquid cash or planning a major loan, holding off until the inflation trend clarifies is the safest play.

### The strangest thing I've researched in a month

That's a direct quote from a user of an app I've been researching for the past month.

Before you roll your eyes... I almost did too. A phone app that pays people money sounds like the kind of thing you'd see in a 3 a.m. infomercial between the knife set and the ab machine.

Then I looked at the numbers.

490 million people use this platform across 170 countries. They've earned and saved over a billion dollars through it. 2 million five-star reviews on Google Play. The company's hardware — a smartphone that pays its owner to use it — sold out at Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, and Target.

And it gets better. They're the #1 software company according to Deloitte's fastest growing companies list in 2023\. 32,481% revenue growth over three years. $11.8 million in EBITDA in 2025 — meaning the business is already EBITDA positive. $115 million in lifetime revenue.

So how does it work?

The average person spends five hours a day on their phone. Every one of those hours generates ad revenue for somebody — usually Google or Meta. This company built software that captures a piece of that ad revenue and sends it back to the person whose attention created it.

Listen to music - you earn.

Play a game - you earn.

Watch a video, read the news, track a workout, even charge your phone - you earn.

The money comes from brands paying for your attention. The company takes a cut and passes the rest along.

That's the model. And it's the same model Roku used — except Roku did it with 270 million TV screens. This company is doing it with 7 billion smartphones.

Now here's what I think most people miss. The $30,000 that user earned is a great headline. But that's not the investment.

The investment is the company collecting a cut on every single transaction - across 490 million users, in 170 countries, every day. That's the toll booth. And it's already EBITDA positive.

Kevin Harrington - one of the original Shark Tank investors - is a shareholder. The CEO has appeared on Nasdaq and NYSE broadcasts. Forbes, CNBC, Yahoo Finance, and Business Insider have all covered it.

The NASDAQ ticker is reserved. The company is targeting a potential listing within roughly 18 months, though that timing isn't guaranteed. More than 60,000 investors have already committed over $100 million. And the last rounds sold out entirely.

Right now, shares are $0.52\. The opportunity to invest at $0.52/share closes August 14.

P.S. A user earned $30,000 just from everyday phone use. $0.52 until August 14\. [**See the ticker →**](https://db.clkrova.com/6a7324403afc96938603ffb7?email=not%5Ftracked&domain=636DBG&type=BLOG&product=MMPI503&ref=dark-bulls.ghost.io) \*

**The State Department has quadrupled its pace of visa cancellations, revoking over 175,000 documents this year.**

Federal authorities announced a dramatic expansion in visa revocations today, citing enhanced security background checks and stricter monitoring of foreign national compliance. The total number of canceled visas since January has surpassed 175,000, representing a fourfold increase compared to the same period in previous administrative cycles.

Officials credit new automated screening systems that cross-reference law enforcement databases with travel records in real time. While government representatives frame the action as a long-overdue modernization of border security, international business organizations are voicing concern over sudden disruptions to corporate staffing and academic exchanges.

Beyond national policy debates, this surge directly affects everyday operational reliability for domestic businesses. Companies relying on specialized foreign talent or seasonal contractors are seeing heightened risk of sudden staffing shortages. If your household employs specialized foreign workers or relies on businesses with international supply chains, prepare for potential delays and increased compliance costs.

## The IRS “confiscation” you’re not hearing about

A law Congress passed is starting to make its presence felt…

And that’s VERY bad news for retirees.

Even the Wall Street Journal had to admit that the law…

“Upends 20 Years of Retirement Planning and STICKS It to the Middle Class.”

**What does that mean for you?**

It’s time to find out…

But prepare to be SHOCKED.

**Human clinical trials have officially begun for a novel vaccine designed to prevent colon cancer in high-risk patients.**

Medical researchers have advanced to human trials for a novel therapeutic vaccine aimed at intercepting colorectal cancer before tumors ever form. The treatment targets abnormal cellular proteins found in precancerous polyps, training the immune system to destroy rogue cells before they mutate into malignant disease.

Early laboratory data demonstrated remarkable efficacy in halting polyp growth without damaging healthy tissue. Rather than relying on invasive surgical removals or traditional chemotherapy after a diagnosis, this preventative approach represents a fundamental paradigm shift toward active immunization against organ-specific cancers.

For men and women over 50, colorectal cancer remains one of the most common and deadliest diagnoses, yet it is also one of the most preventable when caught early. While this vaccine undergoes rigorous multi-phase testing over the coming years, keeping up with regular colonoscopy screenings remains your single most effective defense against the disease today.

**Stargazers are witnessing an unprecedented celestial trifecta as three major astronomical events converge today.**

Night skies across Western Europe and North America are offering a spectacular visual display today, August 12\. A total solar eclipse visible over parts of Europe has coincided precisely with the annual peak of the Perseid meteor shower and a rare alignment of six planets visible in the early morning sky.

Astronomers note that the simultaneous occurrence of a solar eclipse and a major meteor shower peak happens only a few times a century. Space agencies and commercial observatories have reported record traffic as millions tune in to live feeds and local vantage points to observe the rare multi-planet parade.

It is easy to get caught up in daily economic noise, but moments like this remind us of the vast, predictable rhythms of the cosmos. Taking twenty minutes tonight to step outside away from city lights offers a rare, grounded perspective—and a chance to view dozens of shooting stars per hour without spending a single dollar.

**Blackstone has acquired a 25% stake in Air Canada’s Aeroplan loyalty program for $2.5 billion.**

Private equity giant Blackstone completed a landmark transaction today, purchasing a quarter stake in Air Canada's loyalty platform, Aeroplan. The $2.5 billion deal values the frequent flyer program at $10 billion, reflecting the immense profitability of credit card partnerships and airline rewards data.

Major financial institutions increasingly view airline loyalty programs not merely as side perks, but as high-yield financial assets that generate steady cash flow regardless of jet fuel prices or flight disruptions. Blackstone plans to expand the program's retail and financial partnerships across North America.

What does this mean for your travel points? When private equity takes a major stake in rewards programs, redemption structures often undergo changes aimed at maximizing revenue. Keep an eye on your point balances and consider redeeming accrued miles for upcoming travel rather than letting large balances sit idle against future devaluation.
